I am an Artist, Designer, Researcher and Educator working with new media and creative technologies. My primary interests are in non-narrative moving image, generative media, interaction design, deep mapping, interdisciplinary research and co-creation. I am a founder member of the Creative Technologies Lab and am associated with the Digital Cultures Research Centre, Bristol UK and the PLaCE Research Centre at the University of the West of England. I am a director of Centrespace Gallery, Bristol and a steering member of the People’s Republic of Stoke’s Croft.
I am a Senior Lecturer in Digital Media at the University of the West of England and Lead Designer and Co-Owner at Buzzodesign a UK based creative consultancy. As a visiting researcher at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) In Amsterdam and a practising artist working with time based media my current practice led Doctoral Research investigates the Perceptions and Representations of time in Digital Media.
Previously founder of Wildtangent Multimedia, music products producer for ESP/Next Technology, creative director for Yes Television and arch tyrant at Akciddento I have been creating and publishing digital and interactive media within the arts, music and television industries since 1989.
As an alumnus of the Royal College of Art my work has been shown widely including; BBC television, UK ISEA, Holland. Artists Television Access, San Francisco. Act Up, New York. LSE, London and appeared in publications as diverse as The Face, The Guardian and Revolver.
Time is my (secret) superpower and I write and present internationally on art and creative technologies.

Daniel Buzzo is an artist, educator and researcher. Working in electronic and generative media art, interaction design and creative technology. He is Professor in Interaction Design at CODE University of Applied Sciences, Berlin.
His research includes future creativity and complex interactions with technologically based systems.
He has been a director of Centrespace Gallery, Bristol a steering member of the People’s Republic of Stoke’s Croft. A founder of the Creative Technology Research Lab at University of West of England, and a member of the Digital Cultures Research Centre, (DCRC) Bristol UK, the PLaCE Research Centre at the University of the West of England and a visiting researcher and educator at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), Amsterdam, SHAPE at Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) – Faculdade de Design, Tecnologia e Comunicação (IADE) Lisbon and The Informatic Institute (IVI) at University of Amsterdam.
